Smile is all it takes

Happiness is...

The happiness which we always strive for

often is hidden in the places

where we expect the least.

Sometimes it seems logical

That we need to earn happiness by diving into the Mariana Trench,

by summiting the Everest,

or even by catching an unicorn.

Because of a human's natural lack of willpower

or bringing up trivial matters as an excuse

we often give up those almost impossible missions and we think

that because of status quo it's just impossible to achieve the happiness.

If only we had more time,

more money

Or a better job,

we would definitely dive into, summit and catch.

We strive for remedy in unfamiliar places

and by feeling the instantaneous pleasure

we partially heal the loss.

For some reason, as simple thing

as it is to create happiness

is something unimaginable for our minds

while it's easier than making a cup of coffee.

The genuine happiness

as the greek would say, eudaimonia

should be sought on human faces,

not in their wallets.

The happiness that we need

is smile.
